Capturing the view and having flow to the back yard? Yes, you can have it all if you get the design right. The layout of this custom home is the best of both worlds.
Most GN Williams homes, including this one, are built for between $500,000 and $1.5million.
This family with grown-up children requested a modern home that would take full advantage of the elevated views facing south over the golf course and to Saddleback Mountain. However, the flow from the living spaces to the outside wasn’t to be compromised.
The design team devised a solution to meet all the clients’ wishes. Upstairs, one side of the house is devoted to living, dining and kitchen all running from the front to the north facing rear – capturing both the views and the access to the extensive alfresco space. The main bedroom then also captures the stunning views. A huge garage with storage sits under the house.
Significant rock excavation took place to allow for the lower floor bedrooms, garage and storage. This unique home is aptly finished with custom kitchen joinery and cabinetry in the alfresco area. A modern look is achieved with full height tiles in the bathroom and square-set cornices throughout.
